Nakuul Mehta is an Indian actor and model, mainly recognised for the lead role of "Aditya" in the television series "Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara". His Bollywood debut, "Haal-e-Dil" didn"t work well at the box office, but it got this green-eyed charmer some attention. He did few music videos too and was associated with theatre for a long time. He also appeared in the short film "Avant Garde Pythagoras Sharma", which was featured at film festival across the globe. He was last seen hosting "India"s Got Talent Season 6".
Early Life of Nakuul Mehta
Nakuul Mehta was born on 17th January 1983 in Udaipur, Rajasthan to a Royal Family. He descends from King Prithviraj Chauhan of Rajput Chauhan Dynasty of Mewar. His father, Pratap Singh Mehta, is a veteran of Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, while Mehta"s great great grandfather Laxmilal Mehta was the military-in-chief of the Mewar region.
Career of Nakuul Mehta
Nakuul Mehta holds a Masters degree in Commerce from the Mumbai University and then started modelling. After juggling with his modelling career, he made his debut in Bollywood with the movie "Haal-e-Dil". He is also trained in different dance forms like Jazz, Hip Hop, Break, Folk, Salsa and Contemporary. He is a trained Ballroom dancer having learnt under the expert Ballroom teacher Sandip Soparrkar. He represented the state of Maharashtra in the All India Dance Sport Federation championship in June 2011 and a silver medallist in the Latin Ballroom Category (Rumba) and is a gold medal winner in the Standard Ballroom Category (Waltz).
