Mudit Nayar is an Indian television actor and model. He made his debut on television in 2009 in Sony TV`s daily soap "Palampur Express", playing the role of Tanmay Bose. He has also done several ad commercials. He played the lead role of Jeet Saluja in Sony TV`s horror series "Anamika", alongside Simran Kaur, Annie Gill and Shivani Surve. He was last seen as Vibhor in Shashi Sumeet Productions" "Badii Devrani", which aired on &TV till November 2015.
Early Life of Mudit Nayar
Mudit Nayar was born on May 3, 1987 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, to father Ravindar Nayar, a businessman in agricultural products and mother Anita Nayar. He spent much of his childhood in New Delhi, where he studied in Delhi Public School. He had an excellent track record as a sportsman and had even considered playing cricket professionally.
Mudit had undergone training for acting under the famed acting coach Barry John in Delhi, who has mentored actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Freida Pinto. After moving to Mumbai in 2009, he got busy shooting ad commercials and subsequently was offered few roles in television shows.
Career of Mudit Nayar
Mudit Nayar made his television debut with Sony TV"s soap opera "Palampur Express" in 2009, playing the character of Tanmay Bose. He was later seen in 2012 in STAR Plus" "Teri Meri Love Stories", an anthology series of 90-minute telefilms promoted as a "collection of assorted love stories". He was seen in its second episode as Keshav, alongside Shilpa Anand and Viraf Patel. The same year, he portrayed the male lead role of Jeet Saluja, in popular horror TV series "Anamika", alongside Simran Kaur, Annie Gill and Shivani Surve. The series, which brought him further popularity, aired till September 2013 on Sony TV.
In 2014, Mudit was seen in another anthology series "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" with Shruti Kanwar, which aired on UTV Bindaas. The actor was last seen in the role of male protagonist Vibhor Poddar, opposite Megha Chakraborty in &TV"s "Badii Devrani". The story deals with an unusual union between an older woman Reeti and a younger boy Vibhor, even though their families are bitter enemies; the story was set against the backdrop of Kolkata. The show aired till November 2015.
