Early Life of Arjun Kapoor
Arjun Kapoor was born on 26th June 1985 in Mumbai. He is the son of the renowned Indian film producer Boney Kapoor and his wife Mona Shourie Kapoor. Another famed filmmaker Surinder Kapoor was his grandfather. Famous Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor are his uncles. He is also the nephew of film producer of Sandeep Marwah. Arjun Kapoor is the first cousin of producer Rhea Kapoor and actress Sonam Kapoor. Before entering the acting world, Arjun Kapoor wanted to become a director.

Arjun Kapoor began his career in the film industry as an assistant director in the year 2003 for the movie Kal Ho Naa Ho. His next venture was in 2005 as an associate producer for the movie No Entry followed by Wanted in the year 2009. He also worked for the movie Salaam-E-Ishq in 2007 as an assistant director. His cinematic debut as an actor was supposed to be with the movie Virus Diwan under the production of Yash Raj Films in 2011. The movie for some reasons got shelved and Arjun Kapoor was later launched by the same production company with the romantic drama Ishaqzaade under the direction of Habib Faisal. In the movie he was starred alongside Parineeti Chopra. The film was a huge success commercially and it also received critical appreciations. Arjun Kapoor also earned critical acclamations for his remarkable acting skills in the movie. The actor`s second release was Aurangzeb in the year 2013.

Arjun Kapoor made his debut on ramp in the fashion show of Mijwan Welfare Society, an NGO run by Shabana Azmi. The show was named as Mijwan Sonnets in Fabric 2012 in which he wore Manish Malhotra`s collection. He also walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai for designer Kunal Rawal`s Summer/ Resort 2013 collection on 23 March 2013. He was the show stopper and earned huge applauses for his unique style. He has also anchored and performed in various award functions.
