Kohat Brigade

The Kohat Brigade was formed under the British Empire in India as an infantry formation for service in the Second World War. The brigade was raised after the reforms in the British Indian Army in the year 1903. The army was restructured under Lord Herbert Kitchener who served as the Commander-in-Chief in British India during that period. The Kohat Brigade was incorporated as a part of the Northern Army. The troops were stationed in the North West Frontier during World War II. Commander Major General A. Campbell was one of the most reputed commanding officers of the brigade.
