Garulia is a city in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.

Garulia is city in North 24 Parganas district of the eastern part of India, West Bengal. It comes under the Barrackpore subdivision. It is located between 22.82° North latitude and 88.37° East longitude at a height of 13 metres (42 feet) above mean sea level.

According to the 2001 India census report, Garulia had a population of 76,309 inhabitants. Males constitute 53% of the population and females constitute 47% of the population. In Garulia, 10% of the population is less than six years of age. Garulia has an average literacy rate of 73% which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 79% and female literacy rate is 67%.
