Uttarkashi District is a district of Garhwal division of the Uttarakhand state in northern India, and has its headquarters at Uttarkashi city. It has six Tehsils named after Barkot, Bhatwadi, Chinyali Saur, Dunda, Purola, Mori. Uttarkashi town lies high in the Himalayan Mountain Range. Chamoli District
Chamoli district is the second largest district of Uttarakhand. It is bounded by the Tibet region to the north, Pithoragarh District and Bageshwar District to the east, Almora District to the south, Garhwal District to the southwest, Rudraprayag District to the west, and Uttarkashi District to the northwest. The administrative headquarters of the district is Gopeshwar.
