This waterfall was born by the combination of the seven rivulets of Indrawati River. The tributaries reach the town called Barsoor giving rise to the formation of the exotic falls of Bodhghat Sat Dhar.

The Bodhghat Sat Dhar waterfall is located in Dantewada which is 6kms from the Barsoor town. This place has become one of the popular tourist spots due to its splendour.

Gamawada is a small town near the Dantewada city which has a significant historical value. Earlier this place was occupied by the tribal people. There are the relics of ancient stone pillars erected by the tribes. These are called "Memory Pillars" which attracts a lot of tourists.

The nearest air terminal to reach Dantewada is Swami Vivekananda Airport (Raipur) which is 373.7kms from the place. Bus services are available from Raipur and Durg. Dantewada can also be reached through train. Numerous trains are available from the Dantewada railway station to various directions.
