Ajay Rathore is an Indian Kathak dancer and a teacher. He was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Ajay Rathore, Kathak DancerBorn in Jaipur, Rajasthan on 28th March 1982, Ajay Rathore is a gifted Kathak dancer from India. He belongs to the family of esteemed dancers and musicians. As far as his early life is concerned he completed his Masters in Kathak from Bhatkhande Music Institute University, Lucknow and Rajasthan Sangeet Sansthan, Jaipur. He has also acquired his diploma Kathak Kendra in Jaipur. Ajay Rathorehas performed numerous dance shows in India, such as, Kathak Samaroh, Virasat Utsav, Jaipur Samaroh , National Kathak Festival organized by Jwahar Kala Kendra, Pratibha Utsav organised by N.C.Z.C.C.R. Allahabad. He has participated in several renowned Classical music programmes across Indian. Besides these he attended workshops in Europe and performed in several concerts as well.

Achievements of Ajay Rathore
He has received scholarship award by Ministry of Tourism Cultural Department Government of India and was awarded scholarships by Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy, Jodhpur by Jaipur Kathak Kendra in 1996 and 1998. Apart from this he was awarded Yuva Ratan by Rajasthan Rang Manch, Jaipur.
