The 89th Indian Infantry Brigade was an army formation that functioned under the British Empire in India during the Second World War. It was formed in October 1942 as a part of the British Indian Army and remained in existence till the year 1945. The infantry formation was initially allotted to the 7th Indian Infantry Division. Later the 89th Indian Infantry Brigade was attached to the 5th Indian Infantry Division from May 1944 to June 1944.

It was again assigned to the 7th Indian Infantry Division and the brigade served under its command until the culmination of World War II. The troops of the formation provided significant military service during the Burma Campaign in the South East Asian Theatre of World War II.
