Unchalli Falls, KarnatakaUnchalli Falls, also known as Lushington Falls and Keppa Falls, is a 381 feet waterfalls located near Sirsi in Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka. Earlier it was named after the District Collector J.D. Lushington in British era; he discovered the falls in 1845. Unchalli Falls, also called the "mini Niagara", originates from the Aghanashini River and is encompassed by dense forests. Unchalli Falls is often called Keppa Joga because of the deafening sound it makes.

Tourism in Unchalli Falls
Heggarne village is located at a distance of 33 km from Sirsi. A 5 km trek up to the Unchalli Falls from Heggarne village through dense forests is considered to be a popular trekking among tourists. The trekking route serves picturesque scenery with the steep mountain slopes and tracks, deep gorges, amazing flora and the rare avian species.

Visiting Information Unchalli Falls
Unchalli Falls can be visited from July to August. Nearest airport is Goa Dabolim Airport and nearest railway station is at Sirsi Town. The falls can also be reached by road via National Highway 16.
