Gita Temple is located at one end of this field. The appearance of the building is hardly that of a temple. Dedication of Gita Temple Gita Temple depicts Lord Krishna narrating the Bhagvad Gita to His favourite disciple, Arjuna before the commencement of the battle of Kurukshetra between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. The blue idol of Lord Krishna is standing erect, holding His conch in His left hand and the Sudarshan Chakra in His right hand. Arjuna is kneeling down to his left, listening intently to the sacred verses emanating from the divine mouth of Lord Krishna.
