Career of Aarya Babbar
Born on May 24, 1981, Aarya Babbar started his film career with Raj Kanwar's Ab Ke Baras, alongside Amrita Rao. The film released in the year 2002 but flopped at the box office. Since then, he has appeared in a wide range of films in minor and supporting roles, and has worked with stalwarts like Mani Ratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar and Vikram Bhatt. He appeared in Bollywood films such as Guru, Tees Maar Khan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Ready, while also having appeared in Punjabi films such as Yaar Annmulle, Naughty Jatts and Heer and Hero opposite Minissha Lamba. Aarya Babbar also acted in the Bengali film 'Paapi', released in 2012, alongside Prosenjit, Pooja Bharti and Sayantika. The Hindi version of the film released on October 11, 2013. His latest film releases include Bollywood films Bangistan featuring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, and the drama film Chalk n Duster featuring Juhi Chawla, released in 2016.
Aarya Babbar was a contestant on the Indian TV reality show Bigg Boss 8, where he managed to survive for 8 weeks and 56 days. He plays Ravana in the Sony TV daily soap Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman and made an episodic appearance as Dr. Ashwin Sood on the fifteenth episode of the Indian anthology horror fiction series Darr Sabko Lagta Hai along with Ishita Sharma, aired on &TV and hosted by Bipasha Basu. He also released his first screen novel on February 2, 2015, and has also written a comic book titled Pushpak Viman.

Family and Personal Life of Aarya Babbar
Aarya Babbar is the son of actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar and theatre personality Nadira Babbar. He has an elder sister, the actress Juhi Babbar, whose second husband is the television actor Anup Soni. Aarya also has a half-brother, actor Prateik Babbar, who is the son of Raj Babbar and his second wife, actress Smita Patil.
On February 22, 2016, Aarya married his girlfriend Jasmine Puri in a traditional Sikh wedding ceremony. Jasmine is reported to be employed at a major film/TV production house.
