Flora and Fauna of Ramnabagan Wildlife Sanctuary
The sanctuary has a wide variety of animals and birds like leopard, sloth bear, crocodile, peafowl, adjutant stork, rosy pelican and blackbuck, which are a recent inclusion. Common langurs are abundant in the zoo area. Few other birds like the parakeets, cuckoos, storks, snakes, mongooses, owls, spotted dove martins thrive in a remarkable habitat in this sanctuary cum mini zoo area.
The Ramna garden forest has tall stately teak trees and sal forests with a variety of plants like kadbels, dumur, jam, etc.

The Ramnabagan Wildlife Sanctuary is located within the municipal limits of the Bardhaman town and is about 4 km away from the Bardhaman railway station. And via roadways, the sanctuary is about 50m away from the Grand Trunk Road on the Bardhaman-Durgapur stretch.
