Master Taj Ud Din Ansari was one of the most renowned Indian politicians who fought against the administration of the British Government in India and significantly contributed to the Indian freedom struggle. He was one of the eminent leaders of the Majlis E Ahrar Ul Islam. He was also a founder of Majlis E Ahrar Ul Islam, also known as Majlis E Ahrar E Islam or simply as Ahrar, was an Indian conservative Sunni Muslim political party that existed during the rule of the British Empire in India. The party played a significant role in the Indian political scenario before to the Partition of India.
After the country achieved independence from the supremacy of the British administration, the country was divided into the Union of India and the Dominion of India through the partition of India. Later Master Taj Ud Din Ansari retired from active politics and participated in the struggle for Khatm E Nubuwwat movement along with Syed Ata Ullah Shah Bukhari, who was the chief of Majlis E Ahrar E Islam Pakistan party. Later in the year 1958, Master Taj Ud Din Ansari was elected for the president seat of All Pakistan Majlis E Ahrar E Islam.
