Begampur is a census town situated in the Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal in India. It is included under the jurisdiction of the Chanditala police station in the Serampore subdivision. Begampur is quite an important town of the Hooghly District laced with its pristine nature and rich ethnicity. The administrative headquarters of the district are located in Chinsura.
