He was completed his education from Mayo College in Ajmer and was later appointed to the Imperial Cadet Corps. Rana Ram Singh of Dholpur was married with Ripudman Kaur, who was the daughter of the Sir Hira Singh, the Maharaja of Nabha. Singh died on 2nd April 1911 and was succeeded by Rana Udaybhanu Singh. Titles of Rana Ram Singh Ram Singh of Dholpur held a number of titles through out his reign, such as- * Raja Shri Ram Singh Jai Deo Bahadur, Yuvraj Sahib of Dholpur (1883- 1901) * His Highness Rais ud-Daula, Sipahdar ul-Mulk, Saramad Rajha-i-Hind, Maharajadhiraja Sri Sawai Maharaj Rana Ram Singh Lokendra Bahadur, Diler Jang, Jai Deo, Maharaj Rana of Dholpur (1901- 1908) * Captain His Highness Rais ud-Daula, Sipahdar ul-Mulk, Saramad Rajha-i-Hind, Maharajadhiraja Sri Sawai Maharaj Rana Ram Singh Lokendra Bahadur, Diler Jang, Jai Deo, Maharaj Rana of Dholpur (1908- 1909) * Captain His Highness Rais ud-Daula, Sipahdar ul-Mulk, Saramad Rajha-i-Hind, Maharajadhiraja Sri Sawai Maharaj Rana Sir Ram Singh Lokendra Bahadur, Diler Jang, Jai Deo, Maharaj Rana of Dholpur, KCIE (1909- 1911) Honours of Rana Ram Singh Rana Ram Singh was honoured with the Delhi Durbar Gold Medal in the year 1903 and the Knight Commander of the Order of the Indian Empire (KCIE) in the year 1909. |
