51st Indian Infantry Brigade

The 51st Indian Infantry Brigade was formed by the British Empire in India as an infantry formation. It was raised in December 1941 under the administrative authority of the British Indian Army for service in the Second World War. The former brigade remained in active service till 1945. In April 1942, it was attached to the 20th Indian Infantry Division. Afterwards it was re-assigned to the 25th Indian Infantry Division in August 1942 and remained under it administration until the culmination of World War II.

The troops participated in a number of battles and military conquests of the British Government of India.
