47th Indian Infantry Brigade

The 47th Indian Infantry Brigade was formed as an erstwhile infantry formation under the British Indian Army during the Second World War. It was founded under the administration of the British Empire in India at Secunderabad in Andhra Pradesh in October 1942. The brigade remained in active military service till the year 1945. The 47th Indian Infantry Brigade was attached with the 19th Indian Infantry Division. Later the British Indian infantry formation was assigned to the 14th Indian Infantry Division in March 1942.
