or International Indian Film Academy Awards is an esteemed award ceremony, organized annually, where the International Indian Film Academy honours the film personalities belonging to the Hindi film industry for their artistic and technical excellence. It also promotes the Indian cinema
overseas contributing in the development of the film industry. The year 2000 marks the inception of IIFA Awards and since then it is organized in various destinations all around the globe, every year. The event continues for three days during which awards are presented under various categories as recognition to the works of film professionals in different cinematic arenas.
