38th Indian Infantry Brigade

The infantry formation of the 38th Indian Infantry Brigade operated as a part of the British Indian Army. It remained in active service for a very brief period from 1941 till the year 1942. The brigade was raised at Egypt in October 1941by the British Empire in India. It was formed for providing military service during the Second World War.

The 38th Indian Infantry Brigade was assigned to the HQ British Troops Egypt and Eighth Army. The troops of the infantry brigade took part in several British battles and conquests. It was also sent North Africa to participate in the North African Campaign. The 38th Indian Infantry Brigade was dissolved at Tahag in Egypt in May 1942.
