Lokapavani River is one of the tributaries of Kaveri River which flows near the Karighatta hills.

It originates at Honakere hobli of Nagamangala taluk and joins Kaveri River again near Baburayanakoppal at Srirangapatna. On the opposite bank of Lokapavani lies a famous temple of Nimishamba. Lokapavani River passes through around 150 villages and the farmers inhabiting in those villages are completely dependent on it for agriculture.
