Aner River is one of the rivers
flowing in the Tapti River
Basin. It is located next to Hisala in the Maharashtra state of India
. With a length of 46.31 kilometres, the Aner River is the longest right bank tributary of the Tapi. It rises at an elevation of 600 m at north latitude of 21 Degree 23' and an east longitude of 75 Degree 45' from the southern slopes of the Satpura hills
. From there, it traverses in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 94 km to join the Tapi. The drainage area of the Aner River is 1,702 sq. km.
