Aner River is one of the rivers flowing in the Tapti River Basin. It is located next to Hisala in the Maharashtra state of India. With a length of 46.31 kilometres, the Aner River is the longest right bank tributary of the Tapi. It rises at an elevation of 600 m at north latitude of 21 Degree 23' and an east longitude of 75 Degree 45' from the southern slopes of the Satpura hills. From there, it traverses in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 94 km to join the Tapi. The drainage area of the Aner River is 1,702 sq. km.

An earthfill dam named Aner Dam has been built on this river in Shirpur taluka, Dhule district of Maharashtra. Built for the purpose of irrigation, it has a gross storage capacity of 103,270.00 km3
