The military formation of 27th Indian Infantry Brigade served as a part of the British Indian Army during the outbreak of the Second World War. It remained in active service from the year 1941 till 1945. The brigade was raised in March 1941 by the British Empire in India in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
The 27th Indian Infantry Brigade was attached to the 6th Indian Infantry Division. The troops of the infantry brigade served mostly in Line of Communication. The brigade was posted in both Iraq and Iran during the Western Desert Campaign of World War II.

• 159th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (June 1942 - January 1943)
• 87th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (March 1944 - May 1945)
• 27th Field Company, Indian Engineers (September 1942)
• 3/11th Sikh Regiment (May 1944 - August 1944)
