![]() Early Life of Rimi Sen Rimi Sen was born on September 21, 1981 in Kolkata. She is the daughter of Shubhomitra Sen. Rimi did her schooling from Bidya Bharati Girls' High School, 1998 batch. Afterwards she graduated form the University of Calcutta in Commerce. After completing her academics, Rimi Sen moved to Mumbai to pursue her career in acting. Film Career of Rimi Sen Rimi Sen made her debut in the acting world with a Telegu movie Nee Thodu Kavali where she played the lead role. She came into notice with her Coca-Cola advertisement alongside Aamir Khan, which impressed Priyadarshan, the director of that advertisement. He then went ahead and signed her in his hit movie Hungama which brought her to limelight in 2003. In this comedy movie Rimi appeared with Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani and Paresh Rawal. Rimi Sen also portrayed the character of granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in the hit movie Baghbaan. Her next hit came along under the Yashraj banner Dhoom and in its sequel, Dhoom 2, Rimi did a cameo role. Her next releases were Phir Hera Pheri and Golmaal which were very much successful at the box office. She was also featured in the movie Johnny Gaddar along with debutant Neil Nitin Mukesh. Rimi also starred in other movies like Garam Masala, Kyun Ki, Deewane Huye Pagal, Hattrick, De Taali, Sankat City, Horn Ok Please, Thank You and many more.
