The 111th Indian Infantry Brigade was an armed infantry formation that functioned under the control of the British Indian Army. The brigade remained in active service from 1943 to 1945. It was formed by the British Empire in India in March 1943 in British India during the Second World War.
It was initially raised as a Long Range Penetration Brigade. Later it was assigned to the 3rd Indian Infantry Division (Chindits). The troops took part in various British battles and campaigns and also fought in the Burma Champaign. The 111th Indian Infantry Brigade was disbanded in 1945.
