10th Indian Infantry Brigade
10th Indian Infantry Brigade was formed in September 1939 by the British Empire in India. The military formation remained in active service till the year 1945.

The 10th Indian Infantry Brigade was one of the former infantry forces of the British Indian Army. The brigade was formed in September 1939 by the British Empire in India during the outbreak of the Second World War. The military formation remained in active service from the year 1939 to 1945.

The 10th Indian Infantry Brigade was attached with the 5th Indian Infantry Division in June 1940. Later the troops were sent to East Africa in September 1940. The erstwhile infantry brigade was assigned with various other Divisions throughout its service in the British India Army. It was attached to the 4th Indian Infantry Division from June 1940 to March 1941; and the 10th Armoured Division from March 1942 to June 1942. The brigade suffered heavy casualties during the Battle of Gazala of the Western Desert Campaign in the year 1942. The unit was destroyed by the enemy forces during the battle.

Later a new brigade was raised in Egypt and was attached to the 10th Indian Infantry Division. It served under the British Indian Army until the culmination of the Second World War. Eventually the brigade was dispersed and disbanded in 1945.

* 2nd Highland Light Infantry (October 1940 to June 1942)
* 1st Essex Regiment (October 1940 to December 1940)
* 28th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (March 1942 to May 1943)
* 1st Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry (July 1942 to August 1942)
* 2/3rd Gurkha Rifles (August 1942 to January 1943)
* 4/13th Frontier Force Rifles (June 1943 to December 1943)
* 2/4th Gurkha Rifles (May 1942 to August 1945)
