109th Indian Infantry Brigade

109th Indian Infantry Brigade was raised in March 1942 under the British Empire in India. It served as a part of the British Indian Army from 1942 to 1945.

The 109th Indian Infantry Brigade was a British Indian infantry formation that served during the Second World War. It remained in existence from the year 1942 to 1945. The brigade was raised in March 1942 under the British Empire in India. The 109th Indian Infantry Brigade was initially allotted to the 26th Indian Infantry Division. It was later re-grouped and the troops were attached with the 14th Indian Infantry Division.

In August 1943, the 109th Indian Infantry Brigade was assigned as a Jungle Training Brigade. The brigade of the British Indian Army took part in the Burma Campaign in the South East Asian Theatre of the Second World War.
