He is regarded as the most renowned face of the Indian Cuisine of the contemporary times. He was born in the year 1964 and has started out in the hospitality industry in the year 1984. Armed with a degree in Hotel Management he started his career in the ITDC under their kitchen statement scheme and was a topper in his batch. After working in many hotels he was designated as the Executive Chef of the Centaur Hotel in Mumbai. He has been hosting the food show `Khana Khazana` which is a very popular program on Indian food aired on Zee Television every Sunday since the year 1993 and has already completed more than 450 episodes.
