Vairocana Temple is situated in Lalung in Lahul and Spiti district, Himachal Pradesh. The presiding deity is Vairocana, housed as a four-fold idol, also called the wisdom body of Shakyamuni (Lord Buddha). These figures are placed on a single throne structure, with their back looking at each other. Serkhang, Lalung Monastery, Tabo Monastery and Lingti are the closeby tourist addresses. Nearest railhead from Vairocana Temple is the Shimla Railway Station and Joginder Nagar Railway Station. Lalung can be accessed from Kaza.
