Parasuram Kunda
Parasuram Kunda is a place of pilgrimage and it is situated in the lower reaches of the Lohit River at about 24 Kms to the north-east of Tezu. Another name of the Parasuram Kunda is `Prabhu Kuthar`. The origin of the Parasuram Kunda is closely associated with Parasuram`s matricide. Religious people, saints come to Parasuram Kunda on Makar Sankranti on 14th of January every year.

Buddha-Vihar
At Lohit district there are several Buddha-Vihar, which are locally called `Chong`. The Chong of Namsai is big and attractive. Here, all the vihars and statues of Lord Buddha are made in typical Thai-architectural style.

Dong
Dong, a small hamlet in the eastern most region of India had the privilege to have first sunrise in India. It is located close to Walong circle at a distance of around 200 Km from Tezu and is well connected with all weather roads. It offers a stunning view of snow-capped mountains and blue pine forest, which is undoubtedly worth watching as well having glimpse of first sunray.

Glow Lake
It is situated in Wakro circle. It is a beautiful spot of Lohit district with a magnificent backdrop of snow covered mountains and rich flora and fauna in and around the lake. It covers an area of around 8 Sq. Kms at an altitude of about 5000 above sea level. The adjacent road point is near Twam village on the Chongkham-Wakro road from where one has to start trekking for the lake. This trekking trip is considered as an adventurous experience.

The district Museum and Craft centres are located at the central place of Tezu Township. Here one can find several books, crafts and handloom articles of different communities of the people of Arunachal Pradesh and can get an in-depth knowledge of the culture and traditions of the native people.

Bhismak Nagar
According to Mahabharata and other popular traditions, Bhismak Nagar was founded by king Bhismak. The ruin of the historical Bhismak Nagar is situated at a distance of almost 40 Kms. from Tezu near Sunpura circle.

Hawa Camp
It is positioned at a distance of 33 Km. from Tezu. One can have some spectacular view of the magnificent Lohit Valley and sunrise and sunset view. It is considered as an ideal picnic spot.
