Anjan: Anjan is a small village about 18 km away from Gumla. The name of the village has been derived from the name of goddess Anjani, mother of Lord Hanuman. Many objects of archeological importance have been obtained from this place. There is an idol of mother Anjani with Hanuman in her lap near Anjani Gufa (cave). It is known as the birth place of Lord Hanuman.
Basudeokona: It is famous for religious stone idols and is located at around 3 kms east from Raidih block headquarters. There is a charming waterfall. The local people call it `Perwahatt`.
Rajadera: Rajadera is a village in Chainpur Block. The landscape and the climate of this village are attractive. It is surrounded by hills on all sides and is as beautiful as any other famous hill stations of the country. Tourists visit to see the origin of Shankh River and the famous Sadani Waterfall of Gumla.
Dewaki: On the bank of Ghaghara River, it is a place of religious importance. It is famous for a Lord Shiva-Parvati Temple. During the month of Savan, devotees from every part visit this temple. The scenic beauty of the place attracts everyone.
Hapamuni: Hapamuni, a famous and ancient village of the district. Mahamaya temple that is the identity of this village was constructed by Gajghat Ray, 22nd king of Naga dynasty.
Aamtoli: It is famous for an old temple of Lord Shiva, which is situated at the bottom of hill side. During Shivaratri, a huge fair is organized every year.
Banpur: There is a famous old temple of Lord Shiva at the bottom of a hill. There is an old pond by the side of this temple.
Nagpheni: It is situated in the middle of Gumla and Sisai block. It has its own natural beauty and is considered as worth visiting.
Panch Pandava Pahar: It is situated in Bishunpur block. It is a group of five hills and it is believed that the Pandavas spent some times here. This place is of great religious as well as historical importance.
Tanginath: Tanginath is a place having several architectural works in its lap since the ancient era to the medieval era. It is an important place of archeological importance. It is famous as Shivasthali. It is at about 50 kms away from Gumla headquarters. Tanginath is situated on a hill about 300 feet high.
