Tonk of Sargan Soni

The Tonk of Sargan Soni is located in Girnar in Junagadh district in Gujarat. It is one of the five tonks of Girnar Mountain Range. It can be reached through the north side after visiting the Tonk of Merakvashi. The presiding deity of the temple is Sri Sahashtrafana Parshwanath. The idol is 29 inch tall. There is a well decorated Rangmandap in the temple premises. During the performance of temple rituals and prayers, the womenfolk gather in this Rangmanch. Devotees can get a glimpse of the god while approaching from the Rangmanch. The idol was established by Jinendrasuri Maharaj in the year 1849. The height of the garbhagriha of this temple is about 34 to 40 feet. The garbhagriha of this temple is the highest than the garbhagrihga of other temples.

According to some historians the temple of Sargan Soni was later rebuilt by Samarsingh Malde. Devotees can visit the Tonk of Kumarpala through the gate on the north side of the temple. The doctor Kund and the Girdhar Kund lies to the right side of the temple.
