Teams of Pro Kabaddi League are designed and named in an imitation of the cricket teams of Indian Premier League (IPL) and Indian Super League (ISL). There are eight teams designed according to the basis of regions. 2016 also witnessed the glamour of Kabaddi, with the sponsorships of Mashal Sports and Star India.

Pro Kabaddi League is an eight-city league with games played on a caravan format with each team playing with each other twice in July and August, 2014. In a significant value addition to Kabaddi, these games were carried live on prime time television by a reputed international broadcaster for millions to view across India and the world. The eight teams in Pro Kabaddi League are Bengal Warriors,Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi, JaipurPink Panthers, Patna Pirates, Puneri Paltan, Telugu Titans and U Mumba.

Bengal Warriors
Bengal Warriors is a Kabaddi team based in Kolkata, which is located in Indian state of West Bengal that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. It represents Bengal and entire eastern zone. Bengal Warriors is currently led by Nilesh Shinde, and coached by Raj Narain Sharma. The team is owned by Future Group. Bengal Warriors played their home matches at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata.

Bengaluru Bulls
Teams of Pro Kabaddi LeagueBengaluru Bulls is a Kabaddi team with a foundation in Bengaluru in the Indian sate of Karnataka that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. Bengaluru Bulls is at present led by Manjit Chillar. Randhir Singh coaches this team. Kosmik Global Media own the team. Bengaluru Bulls played their home matches at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium.

Dabang Delhi
Dabang Delhi is a Kabaddi team based in New Delhi, Delhi that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. Dabang Delhi is currently led by Jasmer Singh, and coached by Arjun Singh. The team is owned by Radha Kapoor. Dabang Delhi played their home matches at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex.

Jaipur Pink Panthers
Jaipur Pink Panthers is a team in the Pro Kabaddi League based in Jaipur in the West Indian state of Rajasthan, representing West India. The team is currently led by Navneet Gautam, and coached by Kasinathan Baskaran. It is owned by actor Abhishek Bachchan. Pink Panthers played their home matches at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Jaipur Pink Panthers became the first ever team to win the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi title against U Mumba in 2014.

Patna Pirates
Patna Pirates is a Kabaddi team based in Patna in Bihar that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. The team, currently led by Rakesh Kumar, cost the highest bid of 12.8 lakhs and coached by R S Khokhar. The team is owned by Rajesh Shah. Patna Pirates played their home matches at the Kankarbagh Indoor Stadium.

Puneri Paltan
Puneri Paltan is a Kabaddi team based in Pune in Maharashtra thatplays in the Pro Kabaddi League. The team is currently led by Wazir Singh, and coached by Ramphal Kaushik. The team is owned by Insurekot Sports. Puneri Paltan played their home matches at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex.

Telugu Titans
Telugu Titans is a Kabaddi team based in Vizag in Telangana, a newly formed state after bifurcated from Andhra Pradesh that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. The team is currently led by Rajaguru Subramanian, and coached by J Udaya Kumar. The team is owned by Veera Sports constituting entrepreneurs Srini Sreeramaneni of Core Green Group, Mahesh Kolli of Greenko Group and Gautham Nedurumalli of NED Group. Telegu Titans played their home matches at the Port Trust Golden Jubilee Stadium.

U Mumba
U Mumba is a Kabaddi team based in Mumbai, Maharashtra from Western zone that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. The team is currently led by Anup Kumar and coached by Ravi Shetty. The team is owned by Ronnie Screwvala, Unilazer Sports. U Mumba played their home matches at the National Sports Club of India, Mumbai.
