Talaqni Masjid
Talaqni Masjid located in Rajasthan was built by Babur after his triumph over Khanwa in 1527 A.D. The mosque has been constructed over an artificially raised platform.

The Talaqni Masjid is located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. More specifically, the monument is situated to the northern side of Bayana.

History of Talaqni Masjid
Talaqni Masjid was constructed during the rule of the muslims in India. According to history, the mosque was built by Emperor Babur after his victory of Khanwa in 1527 A.D.

Architectural Design of Talaqni Masjid
The ancient Talaqni Masjid has been built on an artificially raised platform that measures almost 6 metres. A staircase has been built to go upstairs the platform. A wide doorway measuring almost 1.80 metres has been constructed in the eastern wall. The thickness of the surrounding wall is almost 60 cm. The liwan on the western side of the mosque has been built of three rows of seven pillars located at each side. Each of them is of 45 cm. The pillars and the rows have been built at a distance of about 1.73 m. The first and the seventh pillar of the first row and the second row and the pillars of third row remain fixed in a wall. The liwan on the western side has been covered by flat roof and the beams have been kept on moulded brackets.
