Sunil Grover, Indian TV Actor, Indian TelevisionSunil Grover is an Indian actor, comedian and stand-up comedian. He was born on August 3, 1977 in Dabwali, Sirsa, Haryana. He was seen in many Bollywood movies in a supporting role. He was also seen in the flick Gabbar Is Back. He is mostly known for his role of Gutthi in Comedy Nights with Kapil. He is seen with comedian-actor Kapil Sharma on "The Kapil Sharma Show" which airs on Sony Tv.

Early life of Sunil Grover
Sunil Grover catapulted to fame with one of the very popular `Kaun Banega Champu`, which was broadcasted, on the Filmy Channel. He was seen in the character portrayal of Ruk Ruk Khan. The show has in fact spread far wider than word of mouth. The Marketing Head of the Filmy channel claimed that the mannerisms, language, voice modulation of the shows are in fact done to mimic the great Bollywood actor King Khan or Shah Rukh Khan and they could possibly achieve this because of the acting potential of Sunil Grover. He was the first and last choice for the show because in another show `Lallan Chala Hero Banne` he has proved his acting skills especially in the art of mimic. In that show also he caricatures the great Bollywood hero with all his characteristics and mannerisms and in this spoof show also he plays the character of Shah Rukh Khan with a different name Ruk Ruk Khan.

In order to mimic the actor he has done immense homework prior to the show. He has not only watched many of his movies but also watched several episodes of the hugely popular show `Kaun Banega Crorepati`. He reminisces that he has met the actor only once and that was also long before he had started mimicking him.

Career of Sunil Grover
He was discovered in his college days by the late satirist Jaspal Bhatti. He has also acted in India`s first Silent comedy show, SAB TV`s Gutur Gu in the initial 26 episodes.

Sunil Grover not only rocked the television industry but also hosted the very well-liked series on Radio Mirchi called Hansi Ke Phuware. He played the character of "Sudarshan", Sud, who tells stupid jokes in a very humorous way. He was awarded with the Radio and Television Advertising Practitioners Association of India (RAPA) Award for exceptional voice-over performance of Sud on Radio Mirchi.
