Shri Falaudhi Teerth located in Gujarat is dedicated to Lord Parshvanatha. The temple was constructed by Dhandhal Shreshthi. It was re-installed in 1181 of the Vikram Samvat Era by Acharya Shri Dharmaghoshasurishvaraji.

Shri Falaudhi Teerth located in Gujarat is a Jain teerth centre. This teertha kshetra is situated in the heart of the Falaudhi town and is at a distance of 1 km from the Medata station of Rajasthan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Parshvanatha, the twenty-third Jain Tirthankara.

History of Shri Falaudhi Teerth
According to history Shri Falaudhi Teerth dates back to the ancient times. As per a legend Shri Dhandhal Shreshthi once saw a dream where he learnt about the exact location of the idol lying underneath the ground. He acted according to the dream and went to the place. He dug the ground and found the idol of Lord Parshvanatha lying below the earth. It was surmounted by seven hoods. Dhandhal Shreshthi then constructed a beautiful temple and installed the idol in it. The idol is said to have miraculous powers. The construction of the temple removed all the difficulties and problems of the people. In 1181 of the Vikram Samvat Era the idol was re-installed ceremoniously by the auspices of the revered Acharya Shri Dharmaghoshasurishvaraji. The ceremony was organised by the local Sangha. In the 14th century Shri Jinaprabhasurishvaraji stated in his work "Vividha Tirtha-Kalpa" about this teerth kshetra. He wrote that by worshipping the idol of Parshvanatha here a devotee can receive the reward of visiting and worshipping 68 teerths. The temple is visited by thousands of devotees from different places. It is believed that by worshipping the Lord with full devotion one can get all their wishes fulfilled.

Temple of Shri Falaudhi Teerth
The temple of Shri Falaudhi Teerth is dedicated to Shri Falavruddhi Parshvanatha Bhagwan. The temple has been magnificently decorated with intricate artistic design. The idol of the Lord is 105 cm in height and is black in colour. It is seated in a padmasana posture. The idol is made of sand and earth and looks attractive. It reflects the ancient artistic pattern. The beautiful idol of Lord Mahavira can also be seen here. Many references have been found here that reflect about the details of renovation work that have been carried out in this teerth kshetra. Apart from this there is another ancient temple in the vicinity of this temple that is dedicated to Lord Parshvanatha and Lord Shantinath. The festival pandal built here looks majestic.

The Temple of Shri Falaudhi Teerth also organises many annual gatherings and functions. Every year on the 10th day of the dark half of Margashirsha and Bhadrapada a fair is held here. There are provisions for dharamshalas or rest houses for the pilgrims. These are well equipped with all modern facilities. The temple is surrounded by scenic beauty that attracts and mesmerises the pilgrims. The kshetra is well connected to road, rail and air. Busses and taxies are easily available for this kshetra.
