Sanjeeda is a television actress born on 20 December 1984 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She did her schooling in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Along with her family members she later settled in Mumbai. She came to Mumbai to help a friend establish a dance school. Later she decided to stay back and conduct dance classes. She taught fusion dance to the students. Ekta Kapoor once spotted her in a party and selected her for a role in her serial.

Sanjeeda made her debut with the serial `Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka.` In the serial she played the lead character of Nimmo. She next acted in another popular serial `Kayamath` in STAR Plus Channel. In this serial she portrayed a negative role. Apart from serials Sanjeeda has also acted in few South Indian movies like `Shubham`, ``Punniyan Selvan` and `Moddulakodk.` She has also appeared in Bollywood movies. Sanjeeda has to her credit of endorsing many popular brands like Ponds Cold Cream, washing powder Nirma, Hair Oil Keo Karpin and PBL Jewellers. She has also endorsed satellite television provider, Videocon D2H alongwith Aamir Ali, Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta. She also appeared with Aamir Ali in the SBI Yuva Home Loan advertisement.

Sanjeeda has been the winner of Nach Baliye 3 and has also won awards or her role in Kayamath`.
