Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh is a beautiful national park which protects numerous tigers and involves the area occupied by Sanjay National Park as well as Dubri Wildlife Sanctuary.

It is located in Sidhi District in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve is renowned for its lush greenery and also its rich sources of flora and fauna. Visitors to this tiger reserve will be welcomed by several streams, valleys, hills and deep gorges. This Indian tiger reserve is based in the north-eastern portion of Madhya Pradesh between Palamau Tiger Reserves and Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserves. Sal forests are present here. The Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve began to be supervised by the Project Tiger from the year 2008 onwards. Gopad River, Ramadaha Kund and Domarpert Hill are the nearby tourist locales which are quite popular.

Fauna of Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve
There exists several species of wildlife in the Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve including Tiger, Nilgai, Porcupine, Sambhar, Monitor Lizard, Civet, Wild Boar, Chinkara, Leopard, Spotted Deer and others. The tiger reserve also boasts of 309 species of birds like Lesser Adjutant, Golden Hooded Oriole, Indian White-Rumped Vulture, Nightjars, Racket-tailed Drongos, Egyptian Vulture, Indian Pitta Rufus-Treepie, Cenareous Vulture and many others.

Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve also acts as the natural route of wild elephants proceeding from the state of Chhattisgarh.
