Rishabha, Kailash Parvat

Rishabha is a name of a golden hill on the top of Kailash.

Rishabha is the name of a golden hill situated on the very summit of Kailash. On the mountain Rishabha grew four medicinal plants, by virtue of which the dead and wounded might be restored to life.

Significance of Rishabha in Ramayana
This mythological hill finds mention in the epic Ramayana. One of the generals in Lord Rama`s army was severely wounded by the magical Weapons of Indrajit. The concerned person was left apparently dead on the battle field. However, he was restored to life by the healing plants brought by Hanuman from Rishabha.
