Rewakund is one of the well known historical sights located at Mandu in Madhya Pradesh. This giant water reservoir was constructed by Baz Bahadur who used to rule over Mandu in the 16th century. Covering a huge area this water reservoir is known as a sacred tank that collects water from sacred River Narmada. As the reservoir is situated below Rani Roopmati`s pavilion it adds to architectural superiority as water was pushed from lower level to higher levels. Surrounded with stone corridors and pavilions along with lavish greenary it provides on of the most scenic sights in Mandu.
