Raji is one of the five sons of Ayus. Raji is distinguished for having assisted the gods in their battle with the demons. Raji helped the gods by attacking the demons or asuras with his numerous and frightening weapons and secured them to victory. As a reward Lord Indra resigned from his throne and gave it to Raji.
