Early Life of Ragini Dwivedi
She was born on 24 May 1990 in Bangalore, Karnataka in a Punjabi family to Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi and Rewari Dwivedi. Her father was an Army general in the Indian Army and her mother was a housewife. Her paternal grandfather Pyare Lal Dwivedi was a railway guard in Rewari.

Modelling Career of Ragini Dwivedi
Ragini started her career in 2008 with modelling. As a model, she has worked for designers like Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar and Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She has walked the ramp for fashions shows like Lakme Fashion Week and Sri Lanka Fashion week. Her association with fashion industry inspired her to participate in beauty pageants. She participated in the Femina Miss India contest held in Hyderabad in December 2008 where she was declared the first runner-up. This achievement of her gave a direct entry to the 2009 Pantaloons Femina Miss India in Mumbai. Though, she did not win the contest but won the title of Richfeel Miss Beautiful Hair.

Acting Career of Ragini Dwivedi
She made her acting debut in 2009 with the Sudeep directed Kannada film Veera Madakari. The film became a major commercial success of the year and earned her the Suvarna Film Award for Best Debut Actress. In the same year, she made a special appearance in another Kannada film titled Gokula. In 2010, she worked in several Kannada films including Shankar IPS, Gandedhe, Holi, and Naayaka. In the same year, she also made her Malayalam debut with the film Kandahar.

The year 2011 saw her in three films including Kempegowda, Kalla Malla Sulla and Kaanchaana. The film Kempegowda, where she was starred alongside Sudeep, earned her a nomination in the South Filmfare awards as a best female leading actress. In 2012, she worked in three Kannada films, one Tamil film and one Malayalam film which are Aarakshaka, Villain, Shiva, Ariyaan (Tamil) and Face2face (Malayalam). Her role in Aarakshaka was highly appreciated.

In 2013, she was seen in two movies including Bangari and Victory. In this year, she made her Bollywood debut with the movie R... Rajkumar. However, the movie featured her in a special and brief appearance. In 2014, she appeared in a Tamil film titled Nimirndhu Nil and two Kannada films titled Ragini IPS and Namaste Madam. In 2015, she had two releases: Shivam (Kannada) and Janda Pai Kapiraju (Telugu).
