Pundarika Vidyanidhi
Pundarika Vidyanidhi was the guru of Sri Gadadhara Pandita and a disciple of Madhavendra Puri. He was close to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
Pundarika Vidyanidhi was called "father," by Chaitanya. Later he became the spiritual master of Gadadhara Pandita and an intimate friend of Svarupa Damodara. Gadadhara Pandita had initially misunderstood Pundarika Vidyanidhi to be an ordinary man. However later on he was corrected by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and became his disciple.
