Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Indian PoliticianPriyanka Gandhi Vadra was born in Delhi January 12, 1972. She is an Indian politician and the daughter of Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi. Being a member of the Nehru-Gandhi Family, she is a politician of repute. Her father Rajiv Gandhi, grandmother Indira Gandhi and great-grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru were all Indian Prime Ministers.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra`s mother Sonia Gandhi is currently the President of the Indian National Congress and the Chairperson of the ruling United Progressive Alliance. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been the student of Modern School (New Delhi) and Convent of Jesus and Mary, New Delhi. She also holds a degree in psychology from Delhi University.

Political Life of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra
Alike Priyanka`s mother, she has been marked by ambiguity in politics. While campaigning regularly for the Congress Party in Uttar Pradesh, she declared to have little interest in politics. Politics is not a strong pull for her, rather the people are and she prefers to do things for them without being in politics. Although, she has hardly been in the core politics, she is seen to assist her mother and brother Rahul Gandhi for several political decisions.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra regularly visits her mother`s and brother`s constituencies of Rae Bareilly District and Amethi. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is noted for her skills as a good organizer.

In the Indian general election, 2004, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was Sonia Gandhi`s campaign manager and helped in supervising her brother Rahul Gandhi`s campaign too. During the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, 2007 Rahul Gandhi managed the state-wide campaign, while she focused on the ten seats in the Amethi, Rae Bareilly region. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra dealt the situation skilfully and spent two weeks there trying to suppress considerable internal strife within the party workers over seat allocations.

Personal Life of Priyanka Vadra
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra married Robert Vadra, a prominent businessman from Delhi. They have two children, namely Raihan and Miraya.
