Position of the Eighth child

The eighth child is very unlucky and if the child is a son, he is responsible to bring about his father`s death. In some regions of India, the eighth child is believed to bring about dangerous consequences for the mother. The remedy of this occurrence is to pass a spinning wheel or Charkha three times around the mother and give it away to the midwife. Although Krisna`s birth was also eighth co incidentally but that was a divine birth, for the profit of the human beings. Thus his birth cannot be compared with that of the ordinary human beings. In case of mankind, the eighth birth is considered unlucky.
