Fairs of Parashurama Mahadev Temple
Parashurama Mahadev Temple organises fairs twice in a year. A grand fair is organised on the Shravan Shukla Sastami and Saptami usually falling in the month of August or September. The food and lodging facilities for the pilgrims are organised by certain social organisations, notably Amar Ganga Charitable Trust for the last several years. Besides the fairs the trust also organises `Sangeet Sandhya` also known as musical nights participated by local artists who sing devotional songs.
Parashurama Mahadev Temple is well connected by different modes of transport. There are vehicles available from Sadri that drops the pilgrims near a kund. From there it is a 2 kms walk through a hilly narrow path to the summit. There are almost 400 narrow steps from there to reach the natural cavern.
