The Neminath Temple is one of the famous temples of Gujarat. The temple in Junagadh is a famous Jain temple situated in Girnar Hill of Gujarat. The Neminath Temple is dedicated to Neminath, the 22nd Tirthankar of Jainism. The Neminath Temple is rectangular in shape. The temple construction had begun in 1128 AD and was completed in 1159 AD. The Neminath Temple was constructed by Vastupal and Tejpal, the two brothers who also built the Dilwara temples of Mount Abu, a marvel of marble.

The Neminath Temple in Junagadh houses a deity of Lord Neminath which is made of black stone that dwell in lotus, with a conch. The interior of the temple is wide spread and is thus quite spacious. The temple has a columned courtyard which has intricate carvings of the Jainish tirthankars. The picturesque sight of the temple can be viewed from the top of the temple.

The Neminath Temple of Junagadh has corbelled domes. The interior of the domes are magnificently carved that makes it more admirable. The temple is surrounded by many other beautiful temples like the Temple of Rishabdeo which was built in 1442 and is dedicated to 24 Tirthakaras, the Parshwanath temple built in 15th century which is also known as Meravaksi, the Amba Mata Temple and also a Muslim shrine. Apart from these there are also other places like the hill of Guru Datatray near the Neminath Temple where the foot prints of the holy tirthankaras were found. At the foot of Girnar Hill below the Neminath Temple of Junagadh is the Damodar kund and the Bhavnath temple which are also important pilgrimage centers of the Hindus.
