Legends of Nagnauna Temple
This royal temple was raised some centuries ago by the Sirmaur rulers to hold religious activities for the well being of the people of Sirmaur Kingdom. The temple was built in an empty space and is strongly associated with the legend of Sirmaur`s former ruling house. The temple is built in a concave.
It is located at Puruwalla Village, in Sirmaur District of Himachal Pradesh. The temple can be simply reached by bus from Paonta Sahib Gurudwara which is16 kilometres away. This popular tourist spot is loved by the locales and nature lovers, who visit the place to enjoy its fine beauty and dramatic architecture. The village area where the temple is situated is surrounded by beautiful trees and water streams.
