Morajee Temple is situated at Morjim in Goa. It is an ancient historical temple complex which is situated amidst natural surroundings. Morajee Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Morjai. This temple has rare art friezes that are decorated all over the temple.

Structure of Morajee Temple
The Morajee Temple has a geometrical and floral pattern. The "Mukh Mandap" and its grill have "Kaavi Art" imprinted on them. The "Sabhamandapa" was built in the year 1936 and it has balconies too.

Festivals at Morajee Temple
The Morajee Temple celebrates several festivals among which "Kalash Utsav" is the most important. Kalash Utsav happens after every three, five, seven or nine years and is considered auspicious too. The duration of the festival is nearly a month. It commences from Phalgun Shudha Panchami. The concluding seven days is a big religious and cultural affair when people not only from Goa but from Sindhudurg to Karwar assemble in large number. Other festivals are "Gudi Padva", "Dussehra", "Annual Zatra", "Divjam" and "Ghode Mundim".
