In the Hindu mythology, Meru-Savarnis are the manus from the Ninth to the Twelfth Manvantara. In the Vayu, Meru-Savarnis are described as the mind-engendered sons of a daughter of Daksha by himself. To the three gods Brahma, Dharma, and Rudra he presented her on Mount Meru and hence they are called Meru-Savarnis.
The Manus are termed as Savarnis from their being of one family. The Ninth Manvantara is the interval of Daksha Savarni Manu, Tenth Manvantara is the interval Brahma Savarni Manu, Eleventh Manvantara is the interval Dharma Savarni Manu and Twelfth Manvantara is the interval Rudra Savarni Manu.
